Beth's nursing experience includes women's surgical and mother/baby, blood donation services, and school nursing. Due to her own health challenges in years past, Beth comes to us with personal experience and extensive knowledge on gluten-free, dairy-free, low-FODMAP, and low histamine diets. She shares our belief the body has the amazing ability to heal itself. Given the right tools including proper foods, time to de-stress and relax, and only targeted supplements for a specific period of time expedites healing.
In her downtime, Beth loves to read, watch movies with her family, play piano, bake, and go to yoga classes. She is happily married with two awesome gluten-free kids.
In addition to her presentations here at the Center, Beth is available for one-on-one sessions concerning gluten-free living, low FODMAP and low histamine diets.
Since the early 1990s, Dianna has been working with people to improve their overall health and wellness. This is accomplished by working with each individual to develop a strategy to address problems, overcome them, and optimize wellness.
Dianna holds a Doctorate in Naturopathy along with several addition degrees pertaining to the health and wellbeing field. In addition, numerous certifications have been obtained through continuing education pursuits.
All interventions are evidence-based. In this way, time and money is not wasted on fly-by-night ideas. The therapies have research behind them coupled with years (sometimes thousands of years) of successes in humans, not just animal studies or petri-dishes.
Some of the therapies will be familiar to new clients, while others may be unknown. Since one-size does not fit all, careful evaluation is performed to match the best therapy to the client's need. The whole body is involved in health and in illness. Helping you to achieve your highest level of wellness is our goal.
Over the last 10 + years Nancy has taken many continued education courses to broaden her skill set. Some of these include myofascial release, structural integration, fascial movement taping, and contemporary cupping techniques. Nancy specializes in deep tissue and therapeutic techniques. She also has extensive experience with low back and sciatic issues.
Nancy is a lifelong Jefferson City resident and graduate of JCHS class of 2002. She shares her life with her husband Shawn and their three children. In her free time, Nancy enjoys crocheting, chasing her kids, and growing her tattoo collection from her husband’s shop Old Town Tattoo located in the Historic Old Munichburg section of Jefferson City. She is also slowly learning to play the guitar to one day accompany herself at open mic nights. ( She has been known to sing during massages, upon request.)
We hope you will join us in welcoming Nancy to the Center! Her talents are many and her skills well honed. Nancy will join us full time beginning in November. Until then we hope you will book an appointment at 573-694-7279.
